Romulus Ramos is a dedicated healthcare professional with over nine years of experience in interventional spine care. He began his medical journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, which led him to work as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, developing a strong foundation in diagnostic precision and laboratory medicine.
Driven by a passion for patient care, Romulus advanced his career to become a Physician, where he practiced for three years. During this time, he performed numerous minor surgical procedures, including mass excisions, incision and drainage (I&D), and laceration repairs, while also serving as a first assist in major operating room surgeries such as exploratory laparotomies, appendectomies, and cholecystectomies. In addition to his clinical work, he has participated in multiple medical missions, providing compassionate care to underserved communities and broadening his global medical perspective.
His leadership and clinical expertise later led him to serve as a Charge Nurse in both Cardiac and Oncology units, where he spent five years managing complex patient care, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and promoting excellence in clinical practice.
Building upon this diverse and extensive background, Romulus went on to become a Nurse Practitioner, combining his broad medical experience across laboratory science, acute care, surgery, and interventional spine medicine to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Outside of medicine, Romulus is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking and spending time in nature. His love for the outdoors reflects his belief in balance, wellness, and living a life that nurtures both body and mind.
