RajKamal Gill, PA-C

Rajkamal Gill, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedic spine care at Southern California Orthopedic Institute where she works alongside spine surgeon George Wahba, MD. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and believes that patient education and shared decision-making are important parts of helping individuals feel informed and confident throughout their treatment.

Prior to joining SCOI, Raj gained extensive experience in surgical oncology, providing comprehensive care for patients with complex medical and surgical needs. Her responsibilities included evaluating patients, assisting in the development of treatment plans, managing postoperative care, and coordinating care among multidisciplinary medical teams. This experience strengthened her clinical assessment skills and reinforced the importance of approaching each patient with empathy, respect, attention to detail, and clear communication.

At SCOI, Raj brings that same thoughtful and comprehensive approach to patients with spine conditions. Working closely with Dr. Wahba, she helps evaluate patients, coordinate their care, provide education about their conditions and treatment options, and guide them through the various stages of their treatment and recovery. She understands that spine conditions can have a significant impact on a patient’s mobility, independence, and quality of life, and strives to ensure that patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in decisions about their care.

Raj is committed to working alongside Dr. Wahba and the SCOI spine team to provide comprehensive, individualized care throughout each patient’s treatment journey.

Raj is available to see patients in our Bakersfield office.
