Morgyn Sharp, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner to: Karl R. Balch, MD

Morgyn was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania, where she played collegiate volleyball. She then completed both her Bachelor of Science in nursing and her nurse practitioner training at the University of South Alabama.

Morgyn is a nurse practitioner at SCOI, working alongside Dr. Balch in providing specialized orthopedic care. She assists Dr. Balch by evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, performing injections, and coordinating pre- and post-operative care.

Morgyn combines her clinical experience with compassion and communication, so patients feel informed, supported, and cared for during every step of their treatment.

When she is not working, Morgyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying active, and traveling.

Morgyn is available to see patients in our Bakersfield-Bahamas office.
