Leonardo McCormick, PT, DPT

Leo was born in Tijuana, Mexico, and moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at nine years old. In high school, Leo moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and later came to Southern California for his medical education. Leo’s diverse experience living in different places has informed his perspective when treating patients.

Before graduating from doctoral school in 2024, Leo had a wide range of exposure that spans multiple sports and orthopedic settings. At the Naval Hospital in Oceanside, Leo managed an array of diverse patients with complex conditions, including polytraumas. After spending many years in the hospital, developing his clinical skills and working with multidisciplinary teams, Leo joined the SCOI team in 2025.

Leo enjoys weightlifting, running, and MMA training. He is passionate about spending time outdoors.

Leo is available to see patients at the Westlake Village office.
