Koby was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. When he was 16, Koby injured his shoulder playing baseball and was informed he would have limited function of his arm moving forward. With physical therapy, Koby was able to improve his shoulder’s function and return to the activities he loves, like sports and powerlifting. The positive impact physical therapy had on Koby’s life inspired him to become a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Before joining SCOI, Koby worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Mission Community Hospital and Plyokinetics Physical Therapy.
In Koby’s spare time, he participates in powerlifting competitions and enjoys playing video games.
Koby is available to see patients at the Van Nuys office.
