Joe was born in El Salvador and moved to California when he was three years old. Joe decided to become a physical therapy assistant because he has always had a passion for physical activity. As a child, Joe played a wide variety of sports and as he grew older, he decided he would become a clinician so he could help others continue to move, exercise, and play.
Joe began practicing as a physical therapist assistant in 2015 and has practiced in outpatient orthopedic settings for over ten years. He was mentored in Mulligan and Maitland manual therapy techniques, which he brings to his practice at SCOI.
When Joe is not helping patients, he is spending time with his wife and three kids, traveling, and play sports.
Joe is available to see patients at the Van Nuys office.
