Hemant Reddy, MD

Dr. Hemant Reddy is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction, including primary hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement and complex revision hip and knee replacement. Dr. Reddy manages a wide range of hip and knee conditions, such as arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, fracture, deformity, hip dysplasia, avascular necrosis and post traumatic arthritis to name a few, with both surgical and non-surgical approaches. Dr. Reddy prioritizes early surgical recovery and employs muscle sparing techniques such as the minimally invasive direct anterior approach for total hip replacement and quadricep sparing sub-vastus approach for total knee replacement. He also utilizes robotic technology to personalize each surgery to each patient’s unique anatomy and alignment. Dr. Reddy also specializes in partial knee replacement and revision or “re-do” hip and knee replacement. As a published author in several medical journals, Dr. Reddy is passionate about integrating the latest scientific evidence into his clinical practice in order to deliver the highest standard of patient-centered care.

Dr. Reddy graduated from Kent State University and obtained his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University through an accelerated B.S./M.D. Program. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, ranked top 1% in Orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report. He then completed his fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction, specializing in advanced techniques for hip and knee replacement and revision surgery at NYU Langone Health, ranked the 2nd best orthopedic hospital in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report. Dr. Reddy is eager to apply the highest standards of orthopedic care, gained through his extensive training, to serve patients in Los Angeles.
