A fellowship requires a doctor to spend one full year tutored by a well-respected mentor. Dr. Moldawer’s mentor was one of the nation’ expert spinal surgeons, Alexander Brodsky, MD, in Houston, Texas. It was this fellowship that launched Dr. Moldawer’s subspecialization into spinal problems.

He is frequently asked to provide opinions about the nature and extent of spinal injuries as well as the more complex issue of causation and apportionment. I went to Dr. Moldawer for a second opinion on a workers compensation. I live in Bakersfield and his office is in Van Nuys. He has been straight forward from day one. He explains everything to you and what to expect. Dr. Moldawer did surgery and I couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend this man.

I had back surgery with Dr. Moldawer and had a great outcome. My recovery was relatively painless. I also have had back and neck epidurals so I am obviously comfortable with care as I keep coming back.
