Deborah Castañeda, MD, specializes in surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Castañeda was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Southern California until leaving to obtain her undergraduate degree in English from Harvard University, graduating Cum Laude. She also studied Spanish while attending Harvard and is proficient in the language.
She returned to Southern California to continue her studies, attending the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. She then completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Los Angeles County and University of Southern California Medical Center before going on to receive advanced, specialized training through a foot and ankle fellowship with Mark S. Myerson, MD, at The Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy in Baltimore, Maryland.
