Knee arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique used to treat knee conditions such as torn meniscus, torn ACL, torn articular cartilage, loose fragments of bone or cartilage, and inflamed synovial tissue.
During a knee arthroscopy procedure, your knee doctor will insert a small camera, called an arthroscope, into your knee joint. The camera gives your doctor a clear view of your knee joint, allowing your doctor to guide miniature surgical instruments through your joint, repairing the tear or damage in your knee.
