David T. Bowen, MD

Dr. Bowen graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he also completed a six year integrated Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He then added an additional year of sub-specialty Fellowship training in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of Southern California (USC) and the Southern California Orthopedic Institute combined program. Upon completion of his training, he joined the faculty at USC as an Assistant Clinical Professor where he was actively involved in the teaching and training of residents. Dr. Bowen has worked with the Southern California Orthopedic Institute Medical Group since 1998.

Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Bowen is a Member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has co-authored several scientific articles and has given numerous local and national presentations within the field of Plastic Surgery. His interests consist of a multitude of Cosmetic Surgical Procedures, which include but are not limited to Body Contouring, Facial Rejuvenation and Breast Augmentation.

Dr. Bowen and his family enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, music, and are active in various community organizations.
