He graduated from Northwestern University Medical School, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery.
 


He completed his Fellowship training in Spine Surgery at the Leatherman Spine Institute in Louisville, Kentucky. Before joining the Southern California Orthopedic Institute, Dr. Grossman was in private practice in Humboldt County, California.

Dr. Grossman has presented research papers at several national meetings on spine surgery, spine trauma and scoliosis. A diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Grossman is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

His professional interests include management of painful conditions of the neck and back, spine trauma, and correction of spinal deformities.

In his free time, Dr. Grossman is an avid bluegrass guitar picker, mountain biker and skier. He lives with his wife and two sons in Moorpark.

Brian S. Grossman, M.D. is available to see patients at the Van Nuys, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Bakersfield offices.
