Programs are tailored to meet the needs of all patients, from the worker's compensation patient to the geriatric population, and to both athletes and non-athletes alike. The skills of our highly trained clinical staff and our state-of-the-art equipment, including a wide array of weight machines, elliptical trainers, treadmills, steppers, upper body ergometers, and modalities, provide the individual with the optimal environment to rehab and gain maximum function.

Hand Therapy

A specialty in itself, our Hand Therapy treats a broad spectrum of conditions, ranging in diagnosis from carpal tunnel syndrome to flexor tendon repair to complex fracture reconstruction. Custom splinting, desensitization, wound care, paraffin, edema control, and BTE testing and training are some of the services available.

Aquatic Therapy

Our 700 square foot, indoor shallow and deep water heated pool is available for patients with upper and lower extremity injuries as well as spinal conditions.

Med-X

The Med-X machine is used to isolate the lumbar (low back) or cervical (neck) extensor muscles to test their strength. Categorized as an isometric testing device, it is also used for dynamic strengthening of the back and neck.

Biodex

The Biodex is a multi-function isokinetic device used for testing and training of the extremities. Test results can be used to identify weak areas in the extremity, allowing the therapist to customize a training program specifically for the individual patient.

BTE

The BTE is used for treatment, evaluation and ergonomic analysis in both acute and chronic conditions. It is useful in increasing range of motion, strength, and endurance, and improves general body conditioning. The BTE is effective in patients who require job task simulation to allow for a faster and safer return to work.
