Aquacize Community Pool Program

The Aquacize community pool program is directed towards our age 55 plus population. Many of the participants have had a prior musculoskeletal or arthritic condition which prevents them from exercising in a normal gym setting. Water exercise is a great way to reduce the force through the joints and allow for a comfortable and beneficial approach to staying in shape.

Classes are currently held every Tuesday and Thursday at various times throughout the day. Each class lasts for approximately 50-60 minutes. You do not need to know how to swim to be a participant, however, being comfortable in a water environment is a must.

Participants do not need to be a patient at Southern California Orthopedic Institute. To enroll in the classes, contact (818) 901-6600, extension 8411, and request a participant's enrollment packet. All participants must complete a medical history form and provide a clearance for his or her physician. The cost per month is $28.00. Come join the fun!
